This final assignment is designed to give you the opportunity to DO some philosophy, exploring a question that many consider the most philosophical of all the philosophical questions.
You will receive full credit (40 points) for this assignment by taking it seriously and turning it in on
time. Late papers subject to a 5 point penalty.
1) Write a 750 (or fewer)-word essay in response to the question(s): “Does life have meaning? If so, what is it? If not, then how do we live in a meaningful way?” Try to make the essay personal,
drawing upon experiences and/or learning from your own life or the lives of those you know.
2) Share the story in some way—you could post it on your Facebook page or some other social media platform. Or just read the essay to some people you know. What questions or comments did the
essay inspire? How did you respond to them?
