Scenario: You belong to an International Law and Peace Officers Organization and you recently attended a conference on the police structure in the United Kingdom, Australia, and Japan. The conference made you think about how many of the same issues that you face each day are handled in other countries throughout the world. You decide this would be a great topic to share with your fellow officers as part of your professional development program. You recently received a promotion to a leadership role, and this is the perfect opportunity for you to implement a few changes in the organization.

Part 2 of the course project requires you to select two motivational theories from those identified in the textbook that might be used as strategies for gaining employee acceptance of the upcoming change. You will compare and contrast the selected motivational theories with regard to how effective they might be in promoting employee acceptance of the upcoming changes. This section consists of an evaluation of the two theories.

In addition to the textbook, you must incorporate at least two other scholarly resources as part of their examination of the selected motivational theories. You should begin by identifying the scenario that has been selected for the course project.

Part 2 of the Course Project should be three to five pages in length, not counting the cover and reference pages. Please review the general guidelines for papers to obtain a description of other formatting requirements.

CSU requires you to use the APA style for papers and projects. Therefore, the APA rules for formatting, quoting, paraphrasing, citing, and listing of sources are to be followed.
